Remake of this piece: I'll Make Sure Of That

I was randomly watching Balto clips and decided to recreate the infamous scene where Steele - the movie's main antagonist - loses his marbles and proceeds to get his archnemesis lost and basically doom his hometown like a trooper. After falling off a cliff and attempting to kill said nemesis. Still love how this guy was completely beyond redemption as a villain, which is a rarity in a kid's movie. 

This was also a good moment to practice some shading. I really wanted the shading to try and 'make' this piece seem more sinister and cinematic than the old one. Steele going crazy was one of the scariest moments in the movie for me because it kinda came out of nowhere and, yeah, the animators did a really great job in taking advantage of his design and making him look as freaky as hell. Personally would've loved it if this had turned into a 'I'm taking you with me' scene and he eventually succumbed to the blizzard in the end. Except I doubt kids would've responded positively to a dog dying of hypothermia on screen, even a feral, demonic one. lmao
